Default BG 44k at 90k miles?

I just got an 04 350z and want to use an engine additive to clean the fuel injectors/cylinders. I've used seafoam in the past and it ****ed up my audi engine so I don't want to use anything that aggressive again. I also did that to the car at 120K and no idea really how well it had been maintained before i got it at 115K, so maybe it was just too much carbon buildup released at once.

So is adding BG 44K to a tank at 90K when I don't reaaally know how well it was maintained a risky move? Should I do half a bottle or something instead?

If its not giving you any problems, why not just leave it alone?

I think that the MPG is a little low, but I haven't used a full tank to calculate it myself I'm just going by the MPG monitor. Just wondering if people have had problems with BG 44K. I've read it works "miracles" and also that it doesn't really do anything. I feel like it idles a little roughly and maybe this would help

Why not just buy quality gas and throw in a bottle of Techron after every oil change?

Well i just had a misfire on one of the cylinders and replacing the coil seemed to fix it, but some people said fuel injectors would be the issue too and I'm wondering if I should use something a little more powerful like BG 44K to prevent future misfiring.

Techron is just less aggressive? I guess I don't understand the use of BG 44K if its not preventative.

I really don't know anything about the BG stuff, but the Techron has been in my cars for 20+ years. The BG might be great, but there's a lot of snake oil out there. Lots of these products are mostly kerosene or some other cheap solvent. With a car like the Z, you need to be careful with the cats, arm, plugs, etc, so I'll only use products that are well-known to not F anything up.

So even with the techron, if the previous owners never used it would i risk releasing too much buildup from the fuel system if I used it now?

I couldn't tell you, but you're correct in saying that regular use helps. Try using the large bottle in 1/2 tank and run it to almost empty, which will increase its strength.
