350z no spark crank no start completely stumped....
Jason, My 2005 350z started somewhat the same way,
now $2000.00 ++ and 2 ECM's and one IDPM later,
3 tow bills, many many hours work, and the damn thing
still won't run. My fans come on when the switch is turned
on and that is it, In all fairness, when I had it towed back
from the Nissan Store where they told me it was
the ECM and they could not get one, I had it re-built
and they had put a new IDPM in at the Nissan Store and said everything was ok with the exception of the ECM.
When I put the re-built one in, fans did NOT come on,
and tried it, momentarily it acted like it was going to crank,
but did not. I said to hell with iit and am considering selling it as is.

I'm bolting everything back together, and hoping it will start this time [ecm, and everything all good, but it jumped timing during one of those long cranking secession, and warped the valves. ]
IF I can get it started its going down the road to a new home.

When I feel up to it, I will give it one more try and if no start then down the road it goes !! I am tired of fooling with it and even have considered getting one of the young groups from Tampa to take a look at it. They seem to do everything with these cars and will probably fix it !! I really like the car and want to keep it but,,,, we will see.

What was found with the U1000 problem? My supercharged 04 G coupe suddenly has the same code and no spark. I've trouble shot power\ground circuits and cannot find the reason why the ecm isn't sending signal to spark. It happened all of a sudden after a recent fresh uprev flash (got about 3 starts out of it before problem surfaced) and brake pads change and will no longer start up\run. Very frustrating....thanks in advance!

I am having some of the same problems, I changed out the Plugs and coil packs. After I changed
cylinders 2,4 and 6 and put everything back in place, cranked it with no problems, ran fine. I then
proceeded to change out 1,3, and 5, after this I put everything back in place and when I tried to start it
the fans came on and the motor would spin over but would not fire. I then checked all connections, hoses and everything else I had touched. Still same results. I have checked, yet again and again for something I missed and can find nothing, Please any help this is my Granddaughters car am desperate to get it running. It has over 100,000 miles on it and this is the first plug change out. They were completely worn out, and I changed coil packs as a defensive measure. Thanks for ANY HELP.

Hey I found the problem after years of having the same problem and changing everything I could and it would just crank and no start it ended up being a stupid little fuse……..
The fuse box that’s to the left of the battery there is a 15 v fuse it’s blue. It’s the little fuses on the left count up 4 and it’s that one or the one in the bottom (3) counting from down to up. Try it after I changed that dumb little fuse my car started after all this time
