Finished up my Trans-Go install, everything went 100% fine. Didn't have any issues, triple checked everything along the way. Got it back together with 5 qts to start with.

Turn key on and the display doesn't show Park or any other gears. So it won't start. No codes. Ran through all the gears, mechanically fine it seems. Dipstick is full, checked fuses, did the ECM reset procedure, and even tried rolling the car a little. Unhooking the battery for the night. Anyone have any ideas if this doesn't work?

 

Leaving the battery unhooked for 8 hours didn't do anything. Going to check the fuses under behind the battery tonight. Only other spot I can think to check. I really don't feel like dropping the trans pan again

 

Maybe you missed a connector inside or outside the transmission?

 

Unfortunately there is only 4 plugs on the inside and none on the outside.

I'm hoping for a pinched wire or maybe I routed a harness wrong. Then when I shifted gears something got caught and pulled out of the plug. I dunno, like I said I triple checked everything so I know I connected everything

 

As I recall it is a CAN connection between the gearshift indicator and the transmission. I suspect the TCM is not getting power or there is a connector off... You may need to take it apart.

 

Yep all fuses are good. Going up on jackstands now. 1000% sure everything is plugged in, so I'm not sure what I should be hoping to find.

 

Well I was right, everything was plugged in. But I missed the linkage

In my defense there was nothing in the install instructions or the DIY about it. Didn't even see it when I removed the valve body the first time.

Filled it up, checked for leaks, took it for a spin.

Normal driving you literally don't know it's there. Feels exactly the same. High RPM shifting and you can feel it hit pretty hard. Should be a blast at the track
