Welcome- replacing rod bearings is not something you should do on a piecemeal basis. Maybe you should start by stating WHY you're replacing any rod bearings at all. Add how many miles are on Z, background info, etc.

On a local Nissan board, there was a 240SX owner who asked a similar series of questions. After a week or so, he came back onto the thread and proclaimed: "Shoulda listened to you guys. I was driving down the road and the engine cut out. Then I was sliding in my own oil. Looks like there's a hole in the side of the block, so if anyone wants to buy a clean S13 with a blown KA, let me know." You can't make this stuff up...
