Which engines can I use?

I currently have a 03 350z that needs a motor. I was told only 03-04 was the same. Is this true? If so what all is needed to swap a motor from say a 05? Anything else come with the same vq35de as the 350?

03 to 06 non revup. look at the front timing cover for the difference between the revup and non-revup DE
