Default RPM wire

Anyone know the correct ECU wire to tap in to get RPM reading ?

#62. Color is Y/R.

I am assuming that is the crank sensor?

#62 is ignition signal #1 I believe. (the others are #60, 61, 79, 80, 81)

Crankshaft sensor is #13.

I'm using #62 for RPM.

Thank you ravaz, I tried #13, crank position sensor and it wasn't right

shoot, that isn't the one I need either

I can't get a proper RPM reading on my e-01.....

Something has got to be off on you're set up process. Either of those should give you the right signal.

Yeah that's really weird. #62 works well for me and my friends Z. Let us know how it turns out, I'm curious. How are you tapping in for the signal?

tim:

you need to use the ignition 1 wire (or any of the 6), and set the e01 to use 1-cylinder operation.. originally the e01 could not do this, but greddy added some "box" or so they told me...

do you know what piece i am talking about?
