Default Clutch Slip?

Today after bringing my car out of storage I noticed that in 3rd gear and up, when accelerating hard the cars RPMs will go up, but the wheels won't move much faster as they should. It feels like I am losing traction without the wheels spinning. Once the RPMs settle back down to the actual speed that I'm going there's a small lunge that you can feel in the car, almost like the clutch is grabbing again and working somewhat as it should. I also hear a lot of TOB noise. Just want your guys thoughts before I drop the trans, thanks!

-Miles?
-Mods?
-Miles on that clutch assembly?
-How long was it in storage?
-Is it a temperature controlled storage unit?

Sounds like slippage or it's not engaging fully.. Do you smell that 'burning clutch' smell at all?

150k+ miles
Pretty much stock
Unknown miles on clutch, car has been beat with a few drift events of hard driving
In storage for half a year
Wasn't temperature controlled
I think I smelt a little bit of burnt clutch, but I'm not too sure

OK.. From what you described, it sounds like you need a new clutch and tob. I would drop the trans and inspect those components. With your symptoms, dropping the trans and inspecting those components would be the next logical course of action anyway.
