I just purchased an 08 350z M/T and the previous owner welded the factory open diff and now it feels like the welds are starting crack. I was just wondering if anyone has done a 370z diff conversion on their 350z and if they've had any issues.

 

The case will fit the subframe.

If it doesnt have a 4 bolt pinion flange you will need to swap yours over and possibly shorten the pinion shaft if it interferes with the driveshaft.

If you want to re-use your axles you need to swap the stub axles over, cant remember if you need to modify their length. Or you could swap your axles and hubs/bearings to 370z version as this would be the right time.
