Default Engine harness help

I just got a replacement motor put into my 05 z and I'm having trouble getting the harness routed correctly. Specifically behind the engine. Every way I've tried I seem to be forcing it and connectors won't reach. If anyone has a picture of the back of their de that would be awesome. Any tips would be much appreciated.

likely your neutral position and reverse sensors are short ... just cut them and splice in extra wire...

You definitely know more about this than I do, but if they are short, wouldn't it indicate that the routing is wrong? If everything is identical then there should be no issues with wire lengths upon reinstall short of incorrect routing of the harness.

OP, I will try get a pic for you when i get home in the am.

I would appreciate that picture very much. Nothing has changed so there should be no reason to extend wires just trying to figure out the correct routing.

Blind leading the blind!!!

It's hard to say … I can only assume Nissan routed the harness essentially to use the least amount of wire (cost savings times a zillion production cars). When I installed my OEM harness I slopped it in and the transmission sensors were short … I didn't even mess around with it, just extended them.
