Default Water Pump Stuck Without Bolts/ 350z 2004

Water Pump Stuck Without Bolts/350z 2004

My husband is having a hard time taking out the water pump. There was a lot of corrosion on the thermostat and lines...we assumed that that's why the water pump is stuck.

He try a lot of things and nothing...

I would like to read your suggestions💡

Thanks in advance.

just use a crowbar to get the water pump out (be carefull with the timing chain), do not use the long tensioner bolts to get it out cause they are just gonna bend or brake because of the rust on the water pump (mine was +170K miles when i changed it) and then you'll have another problem, it happened to me. Hopefully this helps someone.

I tried using a crowbar and still didn’t come out mine has about 198k on it and I struggled for 3 hours to take it out until the bolt broke, any other suggestions to take it out ( I can take out the broken bolt)

bottom part is the broken bolt, top part is the welded screw and welded washer all together to take the broken bolt out xd.

Well to take out broken bolts you'll need some specialist unless you have a welding machine.
all you need to do is make more room in the engine bay so take out the radiator support and then weld 1 washer to the broken bolt (to make the broken bolt and the washer a single piece) and on top of the washer weld like a 19 or 22mm Bolt head and then maybe can come out its hard to explain but it will come out sum like this.
