Default Shifter feels mushy

After a few weeks of shifting like i’m a fast and furious stunt driver, my shifter is starting to feel “loose”. putting it into gear feels so soft that I often have to double check it’s in there all the way... there’s not much “spring” left in it either... whereas it used to feel like it had weight, it now feels like im shifting with a a hot knife through butter. I miss the sure, hard shifts. Any ideas what may be wrong? I installed a new clutch about 3000 miles ago, and flywheel. I checked the linkage accessible right underneath the rubber boot where the transmission connects to the shifter, and that bolt is tight. Is there another bolt further in the transmission that may be causing this? Any ideas? Thx.

It'd be wise to take it back to the shop for their diagnosis. You likely have broken pieces in the transmission and have worn parts that now need replacing.

It is about time we're due up for one of these

If we have to, we'll overnight parts from Japan.
