Default Car won’t start after crash.

Hi folks. Desperate for help. I crashed my car going kinda fast, after which point all the coolant leaked out and basically everything front of the motor was done for. The motor itself doesn’t seem “hurt” at all, we cranked by hand and it goes all the way around no issue. Only thing is the smaller of the two belts on front of the engine, (serpentine? don’t really know) but it’s not on there.

radiator is pulled, it’s basically just engine. Anyway, i’m trying to salvage the motor and swap into a new car. Whenever I try to start it, it cranks, but it’s a slow, lazy crank. It doesn’t turn over either. I’m looking for a clear list of things to begin with, diagnosis wise. A lot of the hoses on the front of the engine are off, so is the intake, and filter. Where should I start to look to fix this problem? Or does it sound like something a little bit harder to fix.

frame is obviously bent but it’s not touching the engine at all, even though it looks pretty close, those little gears behind that radiator hose directly left of the right bent frame can spin freely of it (which are the gears i was telling earlier are missing some sort of belt.) Anyway, let me know where to begin.

No one can tell you anything without hands on especially via the net.

When you call pulleys “gears”, this is speaking volumes. Get your insurance involved, call it a day.

Default I didn’t have full coverage.

Nonetheless, I’m gonna swap this thing out into another and call it a day. Cheaper for me that way anyway. Also, just because someone doesn’t use exact terminology doesn’t mean i’m incapable of doing advanced work on it. I’ll happily update you all after I successfully do this

Having all the sensors working and plugged in might help it start. . .
