Question Low power at top end

So I went for a cruise recently and it was mostly in the rain but when the rain stopped I noticed that my car sounded different to usual, so (as you do) I gave it a little and then noticed there was almost no power in the top end. I have a theory is maybe something under the lines of
- the engine isn't getting enough air or fuel or even both
- or one of my cats has shat its self
my car is a 350z z33 convertible 2003.

any help is welcome

Are your fender liners intact? Sounds like classic “wet electronics”.

Is it still acting that way? Could have dried out by now. But yes, as dkmura says, pull the codes.
