That would be yes, and yes.
There are all sorts of things people do. the key is more cool air into the combustion chamber with more fule. So there is almost infinate things. Larger exhaust helps the flow of spent gasses, more bost for more air, upgrade the injectors, inline 2nd fuel pump, upgraded primary fuel pump, so on and so on. Also reducing rotational mass. well that doesnt make power it just frees up power that would be used to rotate the extra weight and transfer it through the drive line.
The 3 key factors though are: more fuel, more air, and less mass.
This is a simple and vague answer that boils down to money, you got the money, you can have the power.
I suggest, though; reading through a little more and see the big picture of the proformance forums. But don;t hesitate to ask if you cant find the info your looking for. Most people are more than happy to point you in the right direction. Others, well if it isnt info thats brand spanking new, makes free power or directly pertains to them; get pi$$ed when you ask genral and vague questions like "how do you get more power?"
Keep on trucking though. You too will become smarter.

More Boost = More power = More likely to blow the engine
Be carefull when looking to add more power.
Safe power can come from getting rid of spent power. The easiest thing that will yield the most benefits for hp and cornering is to lighten up the wheels/tires combo. And you can do this yourself (how much easier can it be to change a tire?).
