Default 08 Auto trans issue

I have a 2008 auto Z. After driving car for 5-10 minutes when in drive coming off idle between 600-1200 rpm it has a hesitation and bogs down the engine. Only when load is on the trans. I can put in park/neutral and revs fine. And car shifts out fine once moving. Just wondering if anyone has ever ran into this issue. I’m leaning to torque converter is getting hot and trying to lock up. Only does issue when warm and been driven for a bit. Any help would be great

There is a possibility that this is from the exhaust valve timing clutches but that shows up during warm up and should go away when fully up to temp. You apparently can disconnect the solenoids and if the problem goes away you need to replace the VTC covers. Disconnecting the solenoids will throw a check engine light. Other options could be vacuum leaks. The linked thread also suggests EVAP purge solenoid if it's happening when fully warm and you are having other issues.
