Default CMC and CSC took a dump.

Had clutch replaced about 2 months ago. Pedal pressure has been REALLY stiff.

Autocross this weekend, so wife and I decided to flush the clutch fluid to be on the safe side. Pedal to the floor and won't go in gear at all.

I ordered the ZSpeed Wilwood CMC kit, but it won't get here in time so no racing for us.

I read the installs and advice from micvelo and others. I'm a competent mechanic and figure this will take a couple of hours minimum but plan on taking my time to be on the safe side.

One thing I did notice, a few folks mentioned the Wilwood reservoir in order to be able to use a Motive Speed Bleeder (I have one) but haven't been able to source one. Anyone who can point me in the right direction? It would be greatly appreciated!

Replaced both and still nothing. I am contacting the establishment where I had the clutch installed. It has to be the clutch

Ooops.... @KBoltz Check your PMs. I replied to you with items related to traditional slave/fork/pivot ball but those don't apply on an '07-08 (HR with CSC), sorry, didn't know yours was CSC.

I thought the Wilwood MC used the stock reservoir (not included). If that's so, the Motive 1107/1117 bleeder should work. But, now that I think about it, that DOES work on brakes (only thing I've used it for), not sure about clutch master but in theory it does.

It does sound like the clutch because your pedal was stiff from the start but again, a "Stage 3" clutch is usually pretty highly sprung with associated stiff pedal. And if it's a puck setup (which a number of so called "Stage 3"s are), engagement is almost never recommended for street application due to the stiff pressure plate and higher rev engagement of the puck disk.

Would suggest you try bleeding more, preferable with your power bleeder. Air might still be an issue. But yes, take it back to your shop since it's been in this condition since the start.

Got it bled finally. Had to adjust the Wilwood master cylinder so the pedal would go all the way up.

It works great - no chatter, no problems whatsoever.

Now, the fuel pump died. Ordered a new Nismo unit from Z1 Motorsports.

Put in the original OEM camshaft position sensors and the new OEM crankshaft position sensor.

No codes and runs like a champ. Will drive it some this weekend to see if anything else pops up.

I did get a spare IPDM just in case.

yeah.

What a total PITA. But for almost 2 years has been trouble free, so she deserves some of the angst I've gone through.
