Question Swapping RE5R05A to RXO2W(?) Tranny? 2006 5AT (DE)

Hi!
The tranny on my beloved Z just gave up recently, and despite everyone telling me to sell it and get a new car, I want to get a new car but keep my Z, since the car is like new overall, and runs super strong even after so many years (I've been taking care of it really well + some decent mods).
I'm looking to replace the transmission, but from the model number that the seller gave me (it's engraved on top of the transmission), I can't get much info and not sure if it will fit.
My Z is a 2006 Anniversary DE 5AT with RE5R05A transmission.
The one I found has RXO2W#5 on top of it.
Any info is truly appreciated
Thanks!

This is a guess but may help lead you to identifying the trans.

Just as Z manual transmissions have a cast case # on the side, e.g., “CD0 #2”,to identify the generation of the CASE, not the trans identifier, I’m pretty confident that the “RX…” number on yours is a case identifier to identify it as a Nissan (and Infiniti) trans versus a Subaru trans, which uses the RE5 trans built by Jatco as well. It might further identify it as a DE trans as the HR also uses the RE5 but use a different mounting.

Only sure way is to pull your original out to see how it’s marked in top.

Default It works!

So, just a follow-up: Transmission has been installed and works great! I hope it will help someone in the same situation
