Default Timing Chain Sets

Hey everyone. I am looking to replace my timing chains on my track car. Its first outing at Road Atlanta I could hear the chains slapping under the bridge. So I plan do those as well as a few other maintenance items. As for the timing chains should I spend the extra cash on the Nissan Oem stuff or are any of the other brands yall recommended. All my other cars have been timing belt cars and the current chain stuff is a LS6 and a Duramax. If Nissan is the way to go then I will save up a extra month and order those. .

Nissan or Cloyes. If you get Nissan, get it from a dealer online, not Amazon or Ebay. Lots of knock-off Nissan parts on those two sites. Parts have Nissan stamped on them and come in what look like Nissan boxes, but they're not.

BTW, Nice screen name. I had a '97 WS6 6-spd slick top. Selling it was the worst mistake I ever made. That car gave me my screen name.

Yeah will get the part numbers and go from there. I work with some dealers so might even call our local one and see what they can do.

As for the Firebird it needed a lot of work and I did not have the cash flow to fix it or the desire anymore. Was the first car I ever bought either way buddy bought it up and is fixing it at some point. Granted the daily driver C5 Z06 replaced the Firebird. It was a 96 Formula 6spd cad. Never got to install the OEM ws6 hood and box I had laying around. Was sad to see it go but it was time. Do have man memories of people thinking it was a V6 and their but keeping beat bad. Granted it paid for the 350z car that's becoming a Spec 350z.
