Default Loud "whistling" noise from engine!

Hey everyone,

Ive been dealing with this high pitched “whistling” noise which I believe to be a vacuum leak but I’m not sure anymore.

Can’t find anyone with a problem just like this; the car makes this noise at all times except when I’m over ~50% throttle. All of the intake gaskets have been replaced and I’ve used a stethoscope to try to identify where the noise is from but I’m honestly stumped. The cars also appears to be running extra rich

Below is a video of the noise, it sounds prominently from the rear of the engine, but also sounds like it’s coming from the front as well :,(

If anyone knows the issue or any points to diagnose please help me out!

Thanks!

loud noise

Just a basic troubleshooting shot (guess, without hands on).... did you check all the connections from airbox to intake? Hose connections and general condition of intake tubing? Easy to miss a clamp or slip connection.

Also did you do a spray test at the intake mating surfaces where gaskets were replaced?

So I’ve checked all the hoses and did a smoke test on the vacuum lines as well as evap system.

There is no air leak! I’m very confused at this point as it must be something electrical or maybe fuel related.

Any other things that come to mind? A solenoid or something of that nature?

When you turn the car off, you can hear something that sounds like a valve closing and the noise slowly dies down with the motor.

Thanks!
