Everything I have read says that the crank pulley gives the power and that the other two (alternator and power steering pump) are just for show. This is why I bought a crank pulley.

I got it from Concept Z, the yhad the best price at 220 including the belts, the Performance Nissan price is minus the belts. http://conceptzperformance.com/Cart/...68.158.232.166

Pulleys....
After reading tons of posts on the subject of UR pulleys I went ahead and installed them last week. Yes, the crank pulley makes all the difference and the other 2 (alt & W/P) are mostly for show although they are much lighter than the OEM's. So, unless you want the 3 installed for looks, I'd suggest going with just the crank pulley - the alt pulley is a job. I didn't remove the alt - used a chain wrench to hold the inside of the pulley while unbolting with the rachet. In fact, that's how I did the crank pulley - worked like a charm!
Anyway, the result was pleasing in both appearance & performance. The car is much smoother from a stop, the quickness is noticable at 3k+ RPM's, and the RPM's definitely rap up quicker. Super fun! Just waitin' now for the Crawford headers and hi-flo cats - savin' a few $$ for that. Here's few photos of the pully-changing day.........

damn...thats impressive.
Wren,
Are you of the school of thought that this will eventually be negated by the ECU? Some argue that but I just dont see it.
Will you look at this link and tell me if it has everything I need? Also what do you think I should pay to install this?

The ECU can NOT compensate for this. The ECU can only control air/fuel mixture. This is a inertia-reducing mod, the ECU has nothing to do with it. $220 for everything is a good price, but I would hold out to get one used. Two just sold in classifides for $125. If you get it installed, expect to pay $100 or so. You should do it yourself, as it is a fairly easy DIY, and saves money. Plus it gives you an excuse to buy a breaker bar. Let me know if you have any more questions.
