Keep it!! It makes your car look even faster. Aerodynamically, it will stabilize your car at warp speed.

That body kit is looking great! Yes, the rear wing looks a bit over the top, but it's certainly unique. I think I'll have to place the Ings+1 half kit on my wish list.

Question for a aero newb...how is the kit attached to the car's body panels? Are they all rigidly bolted or glued? I'm especially interested in how the trunk spoiler is attached.

Budgetwise, what do you think I need to put aside? Half-kits run around $2k for chin spoiler, sides, rear bumper, and trunk spoiler. What are reputable body/paint shops charging for fitment and painting...$1500?

I got the car painted at M.O.B. works in Orange, Ca. The kit is an original from Japan. It cost me $4300+500 for shipping. The kit is bolted on. If you want I will sell you the wing for $750 (no shipping inc.).

So I need to set aside ~$4000 (subtracted $800 for the wing) for a genuine Ings+ half kit? Then I have to budget fitment and painting? I guess it'll take a little longer (to save that much) than I expected. Well, IMO, it's one of the best looking kits out there. The wing is probably the only thing I wouldn't be interested in, but I'm sure there will be interested buyers on this forum.

Holy crap, thats a lot of dough for a body kit!! I personally dont like big wings like that, but this kit is so unique im not sure I would take it off, not to mention you have the HP to back it up.

edit: Ray, you really need a new camera!! The kit was probably close to 6k painted I would imagine, whats another couple hundred for a camera

The wing is not doing it for me. I thought it was $4300 for the kit + paint.

edit: ditto on a new digital camera

ho for wwider rims, your fenders are still empty, then get the rimo realr fender lif kit, i think its either on hopu racing or z1 performace (its only like 200 dollars and it comes pre painted if you want) its only 8mm but the fenders will look finished. If you get tims get 10.5s or 11 inches in the back, if you want diamond graphite volk c28n looks nice, and they fit but i don't know if their 20's . HRE is the solution, get custom rims that will fill the width of you fenders if you want to get new rims.

you see the white z with the gold rims in your picture, its rims are bbs 19/s but they stick out like krazy , thatas what makes the wing look so good on that white car, the rims offset and balance the wing's width. THe car needs wider rims to pull of that wing looks wise. Don't take whatever i say to the perfomance bank though.

Actually those rims are Volk SF Winnings in Gold. Same set I have on my car.

ray, your rims are fine. 5mm spacers up front and you are good to go. I am thinking of doing the same thing. we both have 27offsets in front...and I think they could stand to sit more like a 24 offset.

Ok peeps, I went to the dub show where I had the car on display. I got most opinions that I should keep the wing. I got some help from the showcase guys and they unscrewed the center of the wing and adjusted the angle. It is now flat and makes the car look otally different. But IMO the Wing still has to go. I spoke to Miguel at MOB and he says that he will remove it and paint over the holes for free. I have narrowed down the set of rims that I am going to replace my volks with.

1. DTM Maya's (like the ones on the Lambo's 20x9.5, 20x11)

2. Lowenhart's (same size)....they are chrome with a black face.

So, I guess this means that ..... My rims and tires are for sale as of right now. PM me if you are interested. $2400 out the door.
