I pay 1300.00 every six months for 3 vehicles an 02, and 2 03's with 500 deductables and 100-300k liability to protect our house. It's about 200 and change a month for all 3 cars fully covered and my wife and I split it.
I also work a Fed job and do risky side jobs while my wife works a high stress Manager job and we run a business too, we earn everything we make trust me and we are both close to 40. Living in California is expensive even with two incomes, no kids and a business.

Hello,
My name is D'oh! and I'm a Z'aholic.
29 years old (30 in a couple weeks)
Been working the same mechanical engineering job since I graduated from Cal in '96.
Grad present was down payment on '95 Ford Ranger, and I paid the remainder off over the next 5 years (and drove it until I bought the Z).
Met a woman @ work and went out for seven years, bought a house together a few years ago, and got married a couple weeks ago (family is happy, but now instead of hearing "when are you two getting married," it has become "so when are you having kids").
After driving pickups since 16 was finally able to buy the Z. Always wanted one or an RX-7 (Dad had a Gen1 RX-7 and then later a N/A 300ZX). I've had mine for a year and a half, just about, and now have 31,000 miles.
Want to mod the Z (bought race wheels and tires so far), but probably won't since now I'm saving for a Vette Z06 in a few years.
Nice thing about being a Z'aholic is you don't have to change...

I'm 23, I work as a software engineer and I am an autonomous entity. Got there working days, nights, weekends. I commuted 120mi a day for 2 1/2 years. I made a lot of sacrifices to get to where I am and I will continue to make sacrifices to get farther. I have no friends, but I have a damn fine automobile...
waiting on boost until the tuning isuues get worked out.
