Stillen Oil Cooler!!!
#41
I hear ya man - ok, my lips are sealed (cough $110 with oil fiter adapter from Summit, JEGS, cough). Now admittedly, there are nicer coolers than the B&M as well, mostly due to the rubber lines - but for the price, even if you add in the cost of Aeroquip fittings and braided lines, it would still come out to be way less than you paid.

Z1 I disagree with your assessment of engine oil cooling requirements with an F/Icar. Maybe with an Stillen or ProCharger SC, the benifits are negligible. But with a TT, the engine oil is also cooling the super-hot turbo center section which can reach close to 1000degrees. The standard oil/cooling system is not designed for that...no question. So I feel a good oil cooler would be a helpful item to have on a TT car. Otherwise, your engine oil will most definatley be hotter than "ideal".
Z1, can you PM the parts and prices I would need to complete this oil-cooler kit you are refering to? I have the Greddy TT with FMIC, and my power streering cooler is relocated near the passenger side front facia area...totally away from the intercooler and radiator. Thanks
Also, if you are tracking your car....sorry...but i would consider it a manditory upgrade if you have a TT.

I hate stillen, they are ****. The earl fittings are like 30 dollars each, I doubt they would use those. Stainless line is like 2 or 3 dollars a foot not very expensive. Go do a custom job for about 100 dollars. It will help if you have turbo, it will increase the live of the turbos. Good investment.
