Noise during cold starts
On cold mornings when I start my car, I notice the RPMs are always a little high for a few minutes. This, I know is normal. (cold start valve is it called?)
However, I *thought* I may have heard a very light piston slap the other day during one of these cold mornings.
7010 mi's on the car. Synthetic Mobil1 5w30 oil. Always 93 octane gas

I get this with cold starts frequently. It never happens when the engine is hot, just when I start it up cold. However Im not sure where its coming from. It could be the valve though. HELP!!
my god I hope its not piston slap. I know what piston slap sounds like (my dodge stealth has it on cold mornings). Maybe it's something that just sounds like it? Anyone? At least me and thunder0880 and drown in misery together

It doesnt give a fix, other than trying holding your clutch for a few seconds longer. Ill try this later hope it works
