For you guys installing this on your own, how did you do it?
The stock cats have the 2 studs welded on each end. With those, you just need a super long extension to remove the nuts from the front of the car. But with the replacement cats, it's a loose bolt. I was able to get two of them tightened enough but the top ones are impossible without going in from the front. Thus it really needs two people to install. I had the GF help me tighten from the front while I held it with a crescent from underneath.
Am I missing something? Why can't they weld the damn nuts on. Now I know I got a pain in the as$ waiting for me when I throw the headers on
Once I get them off again I'll get someone to weld those bolts on for good.

yeah, I always wonder what tools I'm missing that I cannot do these things quick. Only problem with the GF is she couldn't tighten to 40ft-lbs so I had to make her hold it underneath
Of course she couldn't do that either so the wrench had to come to a stop on the engine so I couldn't get it off later without removing a screw... haha, I always run into this crap.
Yeah, I can barely get the originals off in a hour (at least the first time through). Oh well, better than paying someone to do it.

hmmm, that's almost worth it. Thanks shortcut3d.
What are your thoughts on the thermostat? Did Z-car install it also? How much to install? How about the diff cover install?
