oh i also forgot to add...

when daily driving.. there is no need to shift faster.... now... keep in mind, that if you are lifting up on the clutch pedal when the RPM's are at 2000 when they should be at 3000 for the speed you are driving you will feel a large jerk... but... if you rev-match... you can shift as fast or as slow as you want...

those of you who have gone on a ride with me in my car... you know how fast I shift under hard acceleration

Jason, have how about people that just replaced the flywheel and kept the stock clutch? I noticed my shifts became alot smoother with the change in flywheel.

Jason, I also noticed in your video how fast your car decelerated at 110 when you let off the throttle. Your car decelerated at an incredible rate. I remember people arguing that a lightweight flywheel didn't make the car slow down quicker. I think the video proves that it does cause the car to slow down faster than a stock flywheel.

in the cases of the NISMO FLywheel w/ NISMO CLutch or JWT Flywheel with JWT CLutch or any combo of... your lightning the flywheel... the clutch still weights about the same and is bolted rite on the the flywheel... so they turn into the same piece of rotational mass...

the WHOLE intire TILTON flywheel and clutch set up weights just under 16lbs...

stock pressure plate and disk weights 19lbs... (and much larger rotational mass)

nismo pressure plate and disk weights 16lbs... (still larger rotational mass)

JWT pressure plate and disk 19lbs...

so...

JWT Clutch & FLy is really 14 + 19 = 33lbs and a almost 12" clutch
NISMO Clutch & Fly is really 23 + 16 = 39lbs and a almost 12" clutch
TILTON Flywheel and clutch total 16.8lbs... and all the rotational mass is in the inner 7.25" of the flywheel... vertually no weight on the out side...

Jason, do you have a UR crank pulley on your car? If not, how much easier do you think the engine would rev with the Tilton set up?

Jason, that video is awesome! I love how it revs easily and then the rpms drop a lot when you upshift. I need one now, but I don't have that kind of money laying around.

Default G35 and Tilton

I notice on the store link that the Tilton +Cerametallic setup was not shown under G35. I assume it should be as compatible as it is with the Z?

Awesome!!! Are you going to take it to the track? I'd like to see what kind of pulls you make with the Tilton package.
