Just interested to hear more about it, from you, or from someone who has gone by and taken your car for a test drive!
p.s. Not to highjack the thread, but do you have any more info on the nismo heads? You could reply on one of the other two threads about it. Thanks

I just got back from L.A. and driving Jeff's Z. Let me start out by saying DAMN. His car is sweet. Anyway, The clutch is Very fast reving and makes the Z way more fun to drive. The clutch pressure is a little less than stock and very grabby. The noise, which was a BIG deal, was hardly noticable. The clutch had a LIGHT squeak sometimes when starting out and the "cement mixer" sound was like a low rumble, but not bad at all. Jeff had a hard time getting the clutch to even make the sound. At idle, outside the car, it sounded kind of like a rod knock. but very faint. I did not stall the car at all, but I was being very gentle(not my car) even with feff telling me to go for it.
All in all, This WILL be my next mod. It was worth the 7hr drive down there, and it is worth me driving back down again to have it installed. If you are looking for a clutch, this is the one. Thanks Jeff.

30ish hp sounds like its approaching the M3 power to weight ratio. What about the torque of the system? Id definetely buy one if it put the car in the mid 13's. Any 1/4 mile times yet?

i would not sugest this exact set up for drag racing.. maybe if you got the carbon carbon clutch (3500 in its self)...
atleast on a lower power car (non-fi)...
i have to launch my car at idle or the wheels just spin spin spin...
Ive done some 1/4 runs but they suck since the track was 4000 above sea level and goes up hill.. but i was still faster then other Zs

mmmm, i had a E46 m3 as a previous car and miss the performance, do you think there is any way to approach this level w/ out FI? THanks for the response! i can tell you guys love what you do

well, changing to this flywheel and clutch is probably one of the most drastic improvements you can do to performance with this car in regards to acceleration andover all responsiveness...
for a while when i had only the tilton fly / clutch, high flow cats, exhaust, intake.. i was pulling on jeff who has inake / cams / port polish / headers / ecu / pulley / high flow cats / exhaust... but now that he put on this flywheel and clutch... i can wave bye bey as he pulls on me..

I hear ya...
We have some guys with some G's that will take a Z any day... but they have alot of work into them...
I personaly love the look of both cars... the G a little more when stock... but the Z more when withbody kit etc...
If i had a g... i wouldnt have a back seat... nore any kind of interior at all...
You might beable to find someonewho is willing to trade...
I know we have had some people with G's trade them in for Z's with us... wanna make a drive well sell you the z with all the mods you want on it

haha, email me a list of your current inventory Cpowell@NOSPAMtheoretix.com (take out the nospam) I'd have no problem buying from you guys! Ideally Id like to find a previously modded Z (FI would be a big plus) blue track (or big brake upgrade) Thanks!

I dont sell the cars, but i get you talking to our fleet manager who will get you 1000-1500 off... i konw he gave the last guy a good $ on his trade in G35 coupe...
we canout fit a new car with all the mods you want... they generally can not keep a z on the lot long enough for me to tell you about them... but... they can special order any Z you want... so if you want a blue base model and have us put some stop tech's and the nismo lsd in it... you have a z for less then the cost of the track with better performing brakes and rear differential

well, I am going to buy a used Z, seeing as theyve taken a pretty hard hit already. That being said, if you guys have a pre modded one already, id love to take a look at it my price range for the car itself ~26ish, although that would change dramatically based on the mods that came w/ it. Again, I really want to match my old e46 M3 in terms of performance

hehe... no we make it to your order...
I do reember seeing a BLACK Z on the lot that was just traded in... maybe a White one too... I can have a look around...
Some times people come inlooking at a Z and we take them for a ride in Jeff's and they want everything that is in it.. cams headers and all
