I am comfortable enough saying this one can be drivin on the street... If you are local to us here and are serious about purchasing this package, come drive my car...
We got a new pressure plate from TILTON...
For those of you who are new... the TILTON Flyweel and Clutch is a 8lb Flywheel with a 7.25" clutch. The clutch I am talking about here has a 2 cerametallic disk's... Pictured below is my USED rally disk package with pressure plate and disks... the whole flywheel and clutch assembly weights 16 pounds... and the car revv's like a bat outta hell!

^^^^^^^
Video Clip!!!!
First impression when I got in my car...
The pedal was very soft compared to my last one even when it was new... So pressing down the clutch does not take as much effort as before... Softer then stock...
Now here is the thing... It is still VERY grabby because of the cerametallic disks... BUT... it is much easier to handle and easier to feather... I can still chirp 3rd gear with my 275/40/18's...
If you were thinking about this package I would start thinking about it again... It is very easy to get used to and I feel this one would be easy to drive even if you didnt drive with the heavier pressure plate...

if you gotta tranny lift you can do it your self...
this is definatly the most noticible mod you can do to your z... it will add over 30 HP during acceleration to the wheels!
my car pulls harder then a heavly modded NA z... and i only have high flow cats / ehxuast / intake and this bad bwoy!

How can you say it adds 30hp just like that?
Was it tested on a true Dyno? If so, what were the conditions?
Any graphs or charts?
How is the chatter with the FW? I don't know how many miles you have on the clutch but maybe the chatter will get better or worst?
How does it grab when fully heated up?
Does it jitter or bog when downshifting like a true LW FW setup?
How much stiffer/softer is it over stock?
Do you know anyone else through first hand that had seized the clutch or have it fail/fuse on them?
Thanks.

can you post the videos from you driving it in car from a long time ago, or make some newones (better ones without you holding the camera while you drive). I already tried the search and it is still down.

I use this flywheel / clutch set up in my dail driver...
I had 20000 miles on the old pressure plate setup... it was nearly impossible to launch from a dead stop... and going up hill, you could plan on stalling a few times...
this one is still just as grabby but you have 5% slippage id say... on the other there was 0%... stock flywheel / clutch set up... 70% slippage is what it feels like...
sutiable for FI? it will handle well over 600RWHP / TQ...
Yes it was from our race team... they use this flywheel in our race cars but with the carbon carbon clutches (http://www.performancenissanracing.com)
Not yet that I can release...
louder then with any other flywheel / clutch combination... but once again... only at idle and only when accelerating below 2500 rpm...
no difference...
this is the lightest of the light set up...
this pressure plate feels softer then stock...
our race team runs these in their cars... only a few hardcore driving customers have these in their car (i have the most miles out of all so far)... and have sold to some race teams across the US...
I will do a video of driving in daily conditions...
and eric... didnt I show you this flywheel when I was up in san fran?
(looking for some tech info on light weight flywheels and the moment of enertia laws etc...)

only thing we change when installing this flywheel set up is the idle speed...
