I think there are a few other places that sell them as well.

how much rear wheel horsepower can the exedy hold? and how much does it weigh?
makes me think I should have got that one instead of the tilton street cause it'd be up to the task when I put in a supercharger
also how does it drive?

Did anyone ever purchase the Exedy clutch/flywheel combo yet??? The very few comments I've heard on it have been good, but I was just curious as to some details. A guy I've ran into 2 or 3 times said he's got it(he said its rated at 750 HP and he dropped $1700.00 for his) just havent been able to drive his Z yet. Any updates would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
A bunch of us on F/I Board are going with the ATS twin disc carbon/carbon clutch/flywheel setup. It comes in two different pressure plate weights, and single, double, or triple carbon disc. THe double, which most of us opted for, is good for about 750trq. Stock engagement, and stock pedal pressure. Price is roughly $1950 shipped

the Exedy single sells for anywhere from 1600-1800...it holds a max of 400 hp. Good for NA cars
the twin is considerably more money, and a few people here have it as well

aalzuhair has the Exedy Twin-Disc Carbon Clutch and Flywheel, here's his review he replied to me in pm's a month or so ago:
"But anyway the Exedy twin carbon clutch its very smooth on engagement it does not jerky or come on too strong.
At first, the clutch pedal felt a bit harder than the stock clutch but not hard that it would be inconvenient for a daily driven car. The car does make a bit of a noise at idle and below 2000 rpm’s (some times) but once you have the car on the go it feels like stock. In heavy traffic its not harder than the stock clutch, I have not noticed any deference in driving comfort.
But I can tell you that with fast shifting the clutch do its best and this is where the money is. When I shift fast from the start the car engages some smooth that a lot of people told me that me shifting skills have gotten much better. I have received a few complements about how fast I shift without jerking the car, and I tell them it is all in the clutch.
So yes it was worth the money. I got the clutch from Ultimate Racing, which they got it from Adam at Z1 performance. They bought it for me because I asked them to get me the best clutch system available in the market for the 350z. I would rate Exedy clutch / flywheel combo at a 9 out off 10, just because I believe that nothing is perfect.
Q: How many Exedy clutches are available?
A: I think 3 are available. One plate, twin and 3 plates all carbon. But the one I have is the "Hyper Carbon Series, Semi Carbon Multi, Twin carbon clutch / flaywheel combo" it runs for about $2800 or so and that is the one your looking at and it will be the last clutch you will ever buy
Q: how much hp and tq is the Exedy supposed to hold up to?
A: Well on Z-1 Performance it says like 750hp (Idon't know if they mean wheel HP or flaywheel HP), but according to others, it can hold much more than that, however, Exedy under rates their clutch to be on the safe side."

Sorry I have never measured them - weigh wise I can tell you the twin from Exedy is right at the same weight as the ATS - the single would obviously be a bit lighter
