Default whats your opinion power E or Greddy

Soon i will be purchasing a twin turbo for my car, I am doing the shopping now and I have seen Power Enterprise and Greddy's turbo. One company is more expensive than the other (PE) but like all things you get what you pay for ...I assume the PE is more bang for your buck or not whats your opinion. I found the PE for abour $7200 and the greddy for about $6000. Thanx Terry

You can have PE for $6700, so it is much more bang for your buck. It comes with great plugin PE injectors, FPR, a fuel pump, large capacity oil pan (with fins for cooling), ball bearing turbos (as opposed to sleeve type), SS manifolds, and the best intercooler money can buy (ARC). Now, the latter is a double edge sword, it provides far better flow but is more susceptible to cracking if extreme temp changes are observed (TT use in cold climates). The cracking susceptibility of the SS manifolds isthe ONLY drawback of PE. And even then, I do not think it is ever (or at least in the next 5 years) is going to be a problem as these manifolds are small and the turbos only weigh 14lbs (while Greddy I belive is around 18-20 PLUS the wastegates). So, the manifolds are not susceptible to cracking in the traditional sense; this belief is more pertinent to those very long tubular SS manifolds used on inline 4 and 6 cylinder engines...

Another beauty of PE, you do NOT need any piggyback computers... all can be taken care of with a custom flash from TS onto the native ECU, so there is no additional question marks of aftermarket/piggybacks malfunctioning... Of course, the quality and workmaship of PE is head and shoulders above greddy. And don't forget, you have to remove your front bumper brace to fit , the Greddy intercooler - so be careful driving if you have a greddy because a 10mph collision will destroy everything in the front of your car.

My $0.02
