I just bought Royal Purple Synth. and wanted to know if I could use MOBIL M1-105 filter?

 

Yes you can... use either Mobil M1-105 or K&N Gold HP-1008

 

I use a K&N HP-1006. It's a little larger than the HP-1008, and has the same pressure specs. A K&N Tech. confirmed the pressure ratings, and assurred me that 1006 would work. It fits fine. IMO, a larger oil filter is a good thing.
