Default Question for the Crawford fans

I know the stock engine cover won't fit with the Crawford plenum, but is it possible to trim it back and make it fit? I like the v5 plenum but I need to cover up the front of the engine like stock.

For the Crawford people:

It would be really cool if you provided a cardboard cut-out along with your plenum. Customers could trace the cut-out on their engine cover to make cutting the correct pattern a piece of cake.

I think we have a cut up one around the shop . . . I will trace it if you want me to. If not I know there are a couple people here who have theirs trimmed. Infact I think ZCRUZIN has his off the car and may be able to help you out.

I wish Crawford would sell a pre-cut engine cover for the plenum and strut Bar. Or better yet, send them your engine cover and they send you a pre-cut one, sort of like the deal they do with the plenum. I think that would be great.

Apexi

To answer your question, I used a dremel tool. I first made a template with cardboard around the plenum, cut the plenum oversize, and kept trimming until it looked like the finished product above. I really like the look.

Four was a prototype that never hit the production line...
