Go to the private GB section and look at the thread about the Kinetix Plenum GB. You will see several people have received their V4's. There are also some pix.

I hear you. Kinetix definitely has terrible customer service. Good Luck with your fourth.

bwzabodyn,

How do you like those Fuzion tires? I have been looking at them, but haven't really read alot about them. I'm considering having the HRE's I am ordering next week wrapped in them.

well, if you can afford HRE's they are not the tires for you... they are a great "budget tire" - better handling and more comfortable than the stockers, but better tires (such as Toyo T1-s, Goodyear F1 GsD3, Kumho MXs, Michelin PS2) can be had, albeit for a higher price tag - my personal favorite is the T1-S because of their light weight (a plus when upsizing) and their predictablity at the limit (can't say that about some of those super-stiff sidewalled tires - ie SO-3's)

But if you're looking at a replacement for your stock tires on your stock wheels, their isn't a better value out there IMO...

The Crawford plenum is a modified OEM plenum if Im not mistaken while the Kinetix plenum is made of plastic. With the Kinetix plenum, you get to keep your OEM engine cover and strut bar. With the Crawford plenum, you cant use the OEM engine cover or the OEM strut bar. You must purchase a new strut bar. You also must send your OEM plenum to Crawford. I chose the Kinetix plenum so I could retain my OEM plenum and strut bar. Plus it just looks better IMO.

The Crawford plenum is a modified OEM plenum, while the Kinetix Racing plenum is made of plastic which is prone to cracking as illustrated above. With the Kinetix Racing plenum, you can keep the beautiful engine cover and factory strut bar, which means less volume in the plenum chamber since the design requires an indention to allow the strut bar to fit, and requires the front of the plenum to be a little lower to allow the engine cover to fit. And since it's plastic it requires reinforcements underneath to prevent flexing and cracking; those reinforcements obstruct airflow; the airflow that was supposed to be gained in the first place. With the Crawford plenum, you can't use the OEM engine cover, but who really cares; it's just a piece of plastic covering up your even more beautiful VQ engine; you also can't use your OEM strut bar but that's not a problem because they have an alternative strut bar to use that works just as great. You have to send in your plenum to Crawford but there is no downtime due to their exchange program. I chose the Crawford plenum because I wanted maximum volume under the plenum for better performance. And cause I'm such a genius I modified my factory engien cover to fit over the Crawford plenum and it looks just as great if not better.
