How will these cams compare to the JWT/NISMO...?

This may not apply to the 04's, but after I installed cams on my 03 Z, the car would stall at almost every light. Now, the tech not only raised my idle with the consult, but he was able to do an idle air/volume re-learning procedure, which really helped. See if the tech can at least do that for the 04's!

The consult doesn't work on the newer '04s. I'm still stuck in the middle of this problem. (car stalls all the time)

Jason@performance assures me that before the month is out, Nissan is going to have a way to raise the idle on the 04s.

If you have the newer ECU I recommend planning a solution to this problem befor installing any aftermarket cams.

With that said, the new cams pull hard.

will the crane cams be lighter than the factory pieces or will they be ehavier, or are they the same weight. I advise not getting heavier cams, won't that lead to more inertia in the valvetrain causing the car not to want to rev as fast? just asking, if that is not the case oh well.

Count me in as a potential customer, depends on the weight and the lift/duration, it cannot take away my midrange and low end tourque , just givve me some more mid range to high end( maybe evene top end).
tentatively added if its ok with you sir, Thank you and please this deal sounds good, i'm in for 600 before tax, thats definite if all the pre-requisites are met.

They will be VERY good, don't worry - and the good thing about them is that they are going to have at least 3 totally different sets, so no matter what mods you have (or will have), there will be a set for your specific application... they are shooting for a mild street setup for modded N/A cars, an F/I setup, and a serious race setup... only downside is that it's probably going to be the first of next year before we actually see anything... it will be well worth the wait, however...

Has there been any actual follow-up on this? I'm considering cams but I don't want to wait until next year for them

I'm interested. Had crane cams on my camro - way back- and they were excellent back then, i.e. 70's.
