I just installed my Injen cold air intake that came in the mail yesterday afternoon so obviously I had to go test it out as soon as I finished. As I was driving I realized that my oil pressure was higher then I think it usually is. When I had it at around 6600rpms the oil pressure was at 120. I dont know if its always been like that or if it just started recently. I would like to know what the normal numbers are for oil pressure. Thanks

 

if the car is cold, the pressure will get high and just about max out on the gauge. but mine is about the same. even after the car warms up, the pressure will get high like that when your rpms are that high.

 

I just put a jwt oil pan spacer onand am now paying attention to oil pressure more. While putting it on I cleanthe oil pickup line. It seems that something was on the screen. My oil pressure now seems to be a little higher than it was, it is normal to to close to 120 when I first start. After warm up at idle mine is just below the first line. I am using mobil 1 10w30 with mobil 1 filter.
