I dyno'd 320/305 with the hollow cats and a 13-14:1 af ratio. I put the stock cats in and have a wideband, and my a/f is in the low 12:1 now, plus the car feels stronger, but I haven't redynod. I would guess 340/320 since thats what the sportz test got on 91 octane, and I have 93. I'm done wasting my money on dynos though.

If they measured the boost, than a good bet is the high-flow cats. Stillen told me this engine with too little restriction and valve overlap (or something like that), allows the boost to escape and it puts less fuel in accordingly. With hollow cats or headers, the stage 3 will only sense 6lbs instead of 7. However, they did say hi-flow cats should be ok, so what do I know?

I've got probably 100 dyno sheets sitting in front of me for cars of mine that I've dynoed at various times of the year, mind you these are all FI'd cars (Lightning,300zxTT, 350Z) and they have seen differences in temps, but nothing compared to what he's describing.

You're exactly right. It's not the heat...

It's the timing, which is directly related to heat. All aluminum engines, and in this case an FI one are going to get ultra hot. Granted these engines don't seem to mind the heat as much as I've seen other all aluminum, but point being that car is pulling timing.

... and yes, it could lose a GOB of power if too much is pulled.

I drove today at 6am to work, at only 84F (yup, that's Houston for ya) and there is a noticable improvement in pull and HP. However, it is not more than 15-20whp, according to my butt-dyno. I'm pretty sure car is losing power somewhere else as well... this week, I'm calling around for a shop to run a check-up.

lightspeed auto, turbochargers.com

I'd give one of them a call and see if they could help you out... but that's kinda weird since I've heard nothing but good things about SGP... was it the first time they installed a Stillen?

I cannot speak for sure, but I think so. They work predominantly with turbos. However, FI is FI....
