The more I drive it, the more I like it. The car just feels a lot stronger. A good way to describe it (at least for people who have cold weather), is you know how hard your car pulls when its about 35-45 degrees outside. That's how it pulls all the time. When it gets up to around 4k, redline is imminent.

dude.. if you lost 3-5 miles , say 4 average x 20 gallons, your getting 80 miles less on a full tank...dudes.. thats alot of gas you will be paying over the life of your car.

and that's a problem how?

half of that is probably due to the fact that you want to go faster when you have the 3.9, so you mash the gas pedal more often. In addition to the normal mpg loss due to higher rpms at static cruising speeds

i got over 500 miles out of a tank the other day, and that was with the tilton, so i was limited to driving @ 2500rpms and over... around the city, and the way that I drive i'm lucky to get 280 miles out of a tank

with all of my mods, my mpg went from an average of 19.7 to 16.8 according to the mpg readout

that's around 45 miles less for every 15 gallons of gas

I figure that's about $20 more a month or $240 more a year or 66 cents a day.

I'll spend $8 on lunch almost every workday and often spend $25 on dinner with my girlfriend

if I was concerned about my mpg that much, I would have gotten a different car.

I'm going to get a lotus elise which gets 40mpg on the highway anyway so it'll counter my Z

Nice sentry. I love those lotus elises. Really small car, like the Z3 was. My Z3 had around 200hp but it felt like you were on a jet plane when you stomped it because it was so small. I think the elise would be the same way.
