yeah i got my car done by AAM...they do a great job. i highly recommend them, we didnt see much gians with my car...but once i slap on headers and an exhaust i will definatley prove more gains with that i have....but revin to 7k is unbeleivable...i love it car definatley feels different after the reflash...highly recommeneded....i got alot of torque also from the TS ecu reflash...

ZRAYGO, TS has a reflash specifically for TTs. You should call them and look into it, the guy that helped me was Danny, he was real helpful.

G35_CP, I'm almost positive you can't flash a different ECU. It has to be yours because of the vehicle immobilizer. I'd also recommend for you to call them they'll tell you for sure.

 

I actually sent TS an email but have not heard back from them. I was sure you could duplicate the vehicle immobilizer code because they do ECU backups. So is 12.5 the optimal A/F ratio?

 

I just had the AA flash on Saturday. What a pain in the *** the drive back was Maryland. Several road blocks and closures due to accidents. I think I counted 7 in all. Well anyway here is the dyno chart. Mods are JWT pop charger, Kinetix v4 plenum, JIC Y-pipe and RT high flow cats.

 

Nice gains on the dyno. I'd be happy if I see that.

What about the AFR? It doens't look to have changed at all. In fact, it appears you are running even more lean from 2600-3750 rpm and out at 5500 to cutoff. Is an AFR of 14-15 safe opver the long term?

 

I don't know about later years, but the 03 ECU immobilizer code can be duplicated. I have a spare ECU which is flashed and in my car.

 

Stoich mixture is 14.7:1. Running 14:1 should be fine at low rpm. It's only when you hit 5000+ rpm that you want to be a little richer. I would've liked it to be 13.5:1 starting 4500 to 5000rpm but that's how Mike tuned it. At least it starts to get richer at 5500rpm.

 

Hmmm....doesn't look all that much richer in the high RPMs. It's interesting that there was a power increase throughout the RPM range with that A/F curve. Also looks to have nearly identical tuning (A/F) in the area of the torque peak, but the red curve (I presume after the tuning) shows quite a bit more torque. I'm kind of a bonehead, so I'm probably missing something. Not sure how you got the big power increases with little change in A/F tuning. And the red A/F line even looks higher at upper RPMs.

 

No idea what is actually done with the tuning. I don't know if it's just the a/f ratio that he adjusts. The a/f is 13.6 or so 6000rpm and higher from 14.1 at 5000rpm.
