Default Brake light switch

Ok i have heard that if you put a switch to disable the break lights for a automatic. The car can not tell its at a stop and will allow the auto to burn out easier. Is this statement true and how can i do it?

Thanks Glen

i know what your talking about....i did the exact thing...kinda complicated if you know where the fuses are...drive sider to the left...open it and look for the fuse named "stop lamp" fuse...u can either pull it or wire a switch to the fuse using a fuse holder and a dummy fuse like i did to wire it into place....but the fuse is called the "STOP LAMP" fuse dont take out the wrong one or you might run into problems...make sure you put it back in when u r done because you dont wanna be driving around with no brake lights....

If you just take out the fuse...do not shut the car off in park . You will have to put the fuse back in to get it to start . [ Have to have brake on to start the car ] If you use a switch ...not problem

Well when you have your cars break on the ecu lessons the power by 30 percent from the brake light sensor going back to the ecu. If you have the brake light disconnected the sensor can not tell the ecu its on or off so you will have the extra 30 percent power with the brake on now. This works best ive read with the 5 speed auto making it easier to burn out.

Thanks Glen
