Talking Trying to decide....Need opinions please!!

Hey guys, I need help........

I never planned on modding my Z Heavily...Since the TS ECU flash will be out anytime now, Im stuck. Im not touching the headers, BUT Im torn between getting a Kinetix V4 plenum, or not. When The TS flash comes out, it (the Flash) will be my last mod, so I need to make a decision pretty soon...

I love the design of the Kinetix, because of it's material primarily (Stays much cooler, and shows decent gains). What is keeping me from buying it is the fact that Ive heard it does rub and hit the factory strut bar. Im not removing the bar and if this will be an issue, I just assume pass it up, get the flash and be done. I need your guys' opinions.........dunno what to do.

ok......lol

TS= Technosquare= a company which makes ECU flash programs (flash=program) for our ECU's...basically reprogramming the ECU..

Our ECU is tuned for cleaner emissions, effecting the performance potential of the engine, and so on...They (TS) Tweek the fuel maps, increase redline (rev limiter), and a few other things I cant think of right now.(here's the link if youd like to read about it:http://www.technosquareinc.com/)....they also "fine tune" to the specific Mods you have on the vehicle, Therefore, it be Best to do the flash Last. Hope I helped alittle.

AceJ have you done any dynos yet? tracked it? I would love to see how much hp you gain off these two mods and how many tenths they shave off. I think Sins4U33 gained 17rwhp on his auto from just a popcharger, kinetix plenum, and reflash.

No, nothing yet.... And no plans as of yet. when I Do dyno it, it'll be in the Dead of winter, which for Socal, would be considered "Perfect conditions".

Why not dyno before reflashing? You can get an air/fuel reading, send it to technosqare, and they will fine tune from the a/f readings.
