I need some advice from your guys. I have a 5AT with only 14,000 miles on it. It has now started to make this weird clicking or like a glass breaking noise when the car is parked and I go into gear befor the car moves. When I am moving and shifting with the manual mode it does not do it. It seems like it only makes this noise at slow speeds or from a dead stop.

My buddy has a 2003 G35C with the same tranny and his does it to.

Have any of you guys had this happen? and what was the reason if you had it checked at Nissan?

Are you sure its the tranny. I know the axles make noises on these cars i have this problem. When i go into reverse or drive it does this clicking noise.

 

I am just assuming it was the tranny because it has just started happening. It did not make any noise when the car was new. Why would it be the axles?? It only makes this noise at a dead stop or very slow speeds when shifting?

 

maybe it's the ABS?

I have a 5AT and I get a creaking noise whenever I go into reverse or accelerate from a stop. If you get the same thing it's the rear axle. There is a TSB for it. Took my car in about 2 weeks ago just because I finally got annoyed with the sound. They ordered the parts and said that they would call me when the new axles came in.
