Very nice guide here, but wouldn't this work pretty much the same using smaller wire? Then a normal snap on crimper would work for the crimps and life would be much easier. Considering huge amps can run on 12 gauge and 10 gauge wire, why is such large wire being used here?

Hey VQracer,

Where did you pickup the parts for the grounding kit. Did you get them local in OKC or did you order them.
I looked at the Monster cable and lugs at Circuit City and it would be 65 + tax.

I haven't ordered here, but I found them via ebay. You can search ebay for 4 gauge and probably find them that way, too.

Decent pricing.

I will probably do this mod, but I was trying to decide if I wanted blue wires (there have seen some in pics here that were too light for my taste) or if I wouldn't just like basic black.
