Default Tilton Flywheel/Clutch and 3.9 Evo gears ?

Do you guys think that this will be a good setup? Does anybody in this board have this setup? I am about ready to order and would like your opinions. I am basically interested in performance improvements on the track and in the 1/4 mile.

that thing will rev like a bat out of hell i dont think the 3.9 rear end would do much good because you will just burnout through 1st gear if you had them both.

I've got the 3.9 installed and the Tilton on the way. I think the car will be absolutely insane with those two mods together. If you want to wait for a reivew, I hope to have the clutch installed in a couple of days. Performance is waiting on bolts for the Tilton to come back from machining.

I think with those two mods and slicks, you are looking at high 12's in the 1/4 mile. At the "real" track (road course) it will be an amazing combination sure to knock 3-4 seconds off per minute. Pound per pound these are the two best mods you can make.

High 12's or low 13's in the 1/4 milewill be amazing. I'd be waiting for your review zillinois.

No way would you get high 12's in the 1/4. Especially not with street tires. It is hard to get 400hp+ Z's in the high 12's with street tires. At least with SC Z's. I can't speak for TT's.

Dynoed at 254hp, give me another 150hp and tell me i cant get into the 12s and i will cryy and cryy and cryyy than post my superchrger on ebay and buy gears...

That's why I said "with slicks" in my original post. There is a post on here about a guy who did 13.09 with like 4 light mods and slicks.

If you do the 3.9 gears order already installed in the Nismo limited slip, that will help slove the burnout/ traction problem. I would love to have those three mods together Nismo LSD, 350 evo 3.9, and Tilton!

the tilton is a pain to learn on the drag strip. Make sure their arn't to many people watching your first outing it will take a few times to get use to the slip point and when it falls on its face it falls pretty hard.

BTW this is definatly the setup for the drive line.

They fixed the hard launch with the Street version. I went to the strip last weekend and ran a 13.38!
