Default Best bolt on for low-end torque?

My 2003 Touring Z has little gusto between 0-4000 rpm. What bolt on can I add to give me a little more low end. I have a pop charger, DC headers and a Borla True Dual.

Crawford Headers, and the final drive doesn't really increase low end torque it simply allows you to get to higher rpms faster which in effect allows you to use the torque more efficiently. The headers will actually add torque down low.

The headers usually do allow for more torque on the low side but changing the final drive does also add more wheel torque which in most cases will provide the desired results.

If your touring Z is an Auto, the best bang for buck on the low end torque would be a High Stall Torque Converter. If you have money to burn then a roots type supercharger like the Stillen SC would give you nice low end torque.

wont help low end torquer, would help low end revs (like the pullies would).

This motor's strong suit is not in the 0-4000 rpm catagory. Shortl of increasing displacement or going FI, there is really nothing that can be done

Your lack of torque is partially due to the borla. Go w/ a single pipe exhaust like the nismo or just add a good Y-pipe to the stock and you'll gain quite a bit of torque in the mid range.

As for the pullies comment, if you believe that, then you should get rid of your cell phone as well to avoid brain tumors

and FYI the pulley has zero effect on the electrical system. I have used an Unorthodox or Go fast Bits (OZ company) in every single car I have owned with 1 exception in the last 7-8 years and have not had a single negative issue. Every car was modded in other ways, some had systems (1 had a very serious stereo system), some were stock stereos

did you use just the U/R crank pulley or the whole set? i've got a system that pulls a nice bit of current and i don't want to send it to fiddler's green

thanks!
