stillin engine dampner?

Here's how I think it works and what it does. Basically your engine is mounted to your body on rubber bushings. This allows the engine a little movement. What the engine dampener does is connect the engine and the body in another point. Basically it causes the engine to move less when under torque loads. This wiil make your car feel la little better when shifting, especially in corners.

It probably mounts like this one, adding this would probably be the equivalent of getting polyurethane motor mounts.

It can't be as bad as the solid mounts that I had in my Spec V...maybe someone can jump in?

You will get some increased cabin vibration. Its very diffuse though. You can't tell where its coming from so you get used to it very quickly. Now I can't even tell if there's more noise than before or not, even if I go for a ride in someone else's Z.
