Ho Hum, 35th Anniversary 350Z at SEMA
Maybe it's just me, but then new 35th Anniversary 350Z which debuted at SEMA just does not excite me.
This article on MSN describes (in my opinion) mediocre enhancements:
In addition to new wheels and branded brembro brakes. And a new liquid-esque yellow paint:
Big deal! I have to say, I'm not impressed. I think they could've spent less time on the new paint scheme and more time on better enhancements. A V8 would've been a good starting place, instead of just squeezing a few extra horses out of the existing engine. Oh well.
Don't get me wrong, I still love non-anniversary 350Z.
This article on MSN describes (in my opinion) mediocre enhancements:
boost in power to 300 horsepower through the use of revised pistons, revised camshafts and electronic exhaust valve timing control
The Ultra Yellow achieves its near-liquid appearance with the use of a new high-luminance and high-chroma pearl pigment and three layers of topcoat, with separate color pigment and pearl pigment layers.
Don't get me wrong, I still love non-anniversary 350Z.

Explain why V8???? what would V8 add????? beside screwing the car up with more useless weight.... and making it cost 2 times as much....
making the car less than 3000lbs curb would have been nice.

Breaking News:
The new yellow paint has helium-infused lightening molecules that reduce overall weight. The wheels each incorportate a separate motor attached to the axel that runs off of a belt that when acctuated by a series of pullies linked to the VQ creates an additional 100 hp to the ground. New HID lights, dubbed HIDprs (short for Petroleum Retrival System) can identify sources of high-octane fuel occuring in vehicles within a 200 yard radius. The system utilizes a revolutionary atomic vacuum redistribution technology developed by NASA to "remove" the expensive fuel from neighboring car's tanks and import the valuable resource into the tank of the Z, negating the need to frequently stop to relinquish your gasoline supply and allowing for maxium time behind the wheel. All of this technology comes at a price but potential 35th An. Z owners will be very pleased to know that up to 45% of their purchase price will be reimbursed pending the delivery of one healthy baby to doorsteps of Nissan HQ.

i'm sold... where do i sign
No need to sign anything. Nissan has developed TASA. Telekinetic Authorized Signature Acquisition. You simply "think" about signing the contract and TASA does the rest. Nissan then employs RITAZEP (Robotically Initiated Thirtyfifth Anniversary Zcar Empowerment Package) and your new Z will be delivered right to your doorstep by a courteous robot. This, of course, is extra.

your stupid, end yourself now. They would have to develop a whole new drivetrain for one year. Give me a ****ing break. Please go jump in front of a car. Jesus christ. They are trying to make some money by changing very little. That is what car companies do. Maybe the newly revised pistons and rods will not be as weak as the current ones.

Wow guys... This isn't drifting.com forums why so many attacks? I'm not too impressed with the yellow paint job either. I know it's just an anniversary edition but I Would have added tons of badging inside an out to commerate teh 35th Anniversary, I also would have put on a tasteful groundeffects kit. Finally, I would have thrown on a Nismo exhaust and Y pipe with 35th An badging on it.
