Well... hey guys...

And yes the above statement is kind of true... lol...

I have been so busy... and actually about an hour ago I just talked to Julian from MRC motorsports... they are going to finish everything up...

I got as far as I could with the time I had. I have most of the engine together and it was pretty much ready to go in... but I had no one to help me with the drop for a long time.. so thats what really got me stuck. I wasnt about to try putting the engine back in by myself... I figure you need 2 to 3 people at least.

So tomorrow my father is stopping by for about 3 hours... we are going to put the engine back in the car without the flywheel/clutch... just so we can support the tranny..

Then im going to tow it to MRC mortorsports in NJ to have them finish the install and bring it to AAM when they are done to get it tuned...

The bad news is I got so much of it done but i didnt finish, the good news is it should be done much much faster now...

I havent given up I just didnt have time...
Oh and there was one other issue...

When putting the thermostat back on... one of the bolts snapped
I went to home depot and got a screw extractor.... and that snapped

So I hope they can get that out....

I havent forgotten... Im just so busy... married life is hard... free time is scarce... its always like... "Hey lets go here, or do this, or why do you spend so much time on your car" 'tis a shame...

But now that it wont take up my time all day... it will be done as fast as MRC can do it! Im actually very excited.... They mentioned they can have it done mid to end of August.

Trust me... ill be posting then...
In the mean time...

If you need any help Ill do what I can... I have had two PM's that i didnt see cause I havent logged on lately so sorry to those who asked for help...

Email me... Bruschijr@yahoo.com... I check that all day at work... Ill be sure to do anything I can...

Soon... hopefully a 600WHP monster...

Well, I cam across two problems that I couldn't fix myself. While tightening a bolt on the thermostat housing... *SNAP*... I tried to follow the instructions as well as I could. It was at 7lbs on the torque wrench when it snapped... funny... So I went out to home depot to get a screw extractor and a metal drill bit... Made a hole put in the extractor... used a hell of a lot of force... *SNAP* Now i have a screw extractor stuck in the block threads... Also while I was at home depot... on the Greddy Oil return lines the shop that installed my Oil Pressure Sensor put on a bronze NPT extension and cracked it a little... so I wanted to replace it. I went to Home Depot and got a new piece but couldnt get the extension out... Thats when one of those "Big Beefy Dudes" who worked at the store came over... "Can I help you"? Showed him what the problem was.. "Oh, I can fix that".. he pulls a pipe wrench out of what had to be his ***... he didnt have a belt on... so i dont know where it came from... gave it a little twist... *SNAP* ... his reply "Sorry, don't know what to tell you".... Thanks Moth******er!

So im left with two things I cant fix myself... which resulted in me transporting my car to MRC motorsports over the weekend... They have my car now... and I have to speak with Jason about an estimate today...

He said they should be able to start in a week or two, and be done soon after... so...

Good News: My car will be ready quicker than I could have done it... and it will be done by a professional..

Bad News: I have to pay for it And I dont know how much I saved...

After its finished I have to get it tuned... I was talking to Sharif through e-mail yesterday... i might take it down to where he got it tuned... depends on the cost to get it there.... either that or AAM in Maryland...

So ive been a little angry for the past couple days... but i know when its done... all those thoughts will go away

I took a picture when i put the engine pack in for transport... but there wasnt much on it.. i can post it up when I get home... The camera is still in th garage...

First step to replacing you engine: Delay any marrage plans until job is complete.

Hey all,

Long time no see... Iv'e been so busy with so much...

Update: Brought my car over to MRC motorsports to finish everything up that I couldn't do on my own... Car was started

Sounded like crap though because I have 750cc injectors and no base map in.

I'm waiting on the UTEC unit they are offering, should be in at the shop in a week or two. It should take care of the poor idle...

After that It's break in and tune time...

Hey Paranormal,

I was only there once, the only car i saw was the MRC car and a black one with a supercharger on it.

I have been patientley waiting since the day they got my car started (October 13th) for them to put the UTEC in. I have emailed them a few times, every two weeks, but the answer has been the same regarding that they are still waiting on the UTEC.

Pretty much my car is ready... it just needs the right computer...
Im going to speak with them again in the next day or two. Im probably going to give them until Christmas before I start looking at other options for a ECU replacement.

I have been told by many that using the e-manage is not a wise choice.

I have been slowly, and unfortunatley, forgetting about my car... its been since February since i last turned the key on

I cant wait to get it back....
I used to be so involved in this community... i need to get back to it... but its hard to think about a 350z when you havent been in your own in almost a year.

AnthonyCar is up and running afterthe lower intake was replaced...We just got it up and running tonight and need to do some mild tunning so you can get down to TX for a tune..You also need to have Nissan bump the idle a bit for those JWT cams..Call me tommorow for an update, we just need to swap the plugs...

Well, I got the car back!!

I picked it up on Saturday and the guys at MRC were very helpful and let me know of all the things i had to watch for to get everything in motion.

There was one scary part... the car didnt have any idle control... if I hesitated for too long between gear shifts or came to a stop the car would just die sometimes on the road... all i have to do is bring it to a dealership for them to set the correct idle or raise it....

So i was thinking to myself... with this problem... what do i not want the most... hmm... how about traffic and stoplights...

Well guess what i got for the first 20 mins... just that..

I have to tell you it was scary as hell... the first two shifts i did i had to get used to the clutch real quick (rps) but i got the hang of it in about 30 seconds...

About an hour later on the way home i got off the turnpike exit and shifted the car into neutral back into 3rd.. i like to coast through the ezpass in this gear...

Well... the car engine stopped... pretty scary going 35-40mph and knowing your engine stopped... so i freaked for a second ( i was reaching over to get the ezpass) as soon as i put it in 3rd the engine came back on... whew... better hurry to the dealership...

Besides that the car ran just fine... i had it up to 70mph and about 3k rpm at the highest with no problems...

It was wierd hearing the flywheel.... now i know what they mean by cement mixer sound... damn my car sounds like a freaking diesel truck... haha... its a wierd thing to experience for the first time...

Im gonna put some miles on it... and figure out what im going to do about tuning... i still have some thoughts on what to do and where to go... im shooting for somewhere between 550whp-600whp.. we'll see how it goes..

I really dont know when im going to get to the tune shop... it may be next week... it may be as late as march... im in no rush... as its not driving season now anyway...

Yeah I know how you feel. You just have to bring it to an idle more gently ie. shift into a higher gear that's lower on the RPM range and then let the clutch out. It should idle fine from there. It's just when it goes from 4k rpms to an idle is when it stalls. Glad you got the car back together. I guess you can be married and have a modded car!
