Yup you will not regret going LS bro.. Can't wait to see your build
looking good.
As for the intake mount, i say go with something a little different and do it on the side like a cold air mount.
Love the hydro, almost ordered that one. Interested in seeing how you mount it. You keep the same brake line from the old setup? U using SS lines for the hyrdo?
U plan on using the OEM gauge cluster or u going custom?

Dude (OP) read the whole thread, well your parts anyway.
Gosh I am awestruck. I want to mod, build, and wrench so bad...
fantastic, amazing, and what wonderful attention to detail.
This thread is very motivational for me. I have no money to do anything cool but
that is cause I need a job. This helps me remember what I am working towards.

Hey Edafe/Royal_T,
So I am not in the market for wheels, I need more mission critical hardware
right now, but I do need some new rubber. Maybe for this winter, for sure
next summer. I am guessing that DPE-Wheels does not sell tires as I did not
see any on the website but I wanted to ask and make sure. I figure I'd rather
know where my money goes than spend it at a faceless corporation.

Hahaha this cracked me up...
Thanks bro, I think I might do it to the side cause some people have seen big temp changes by running it to the side.
As for the Hydro, I plan to mount it on the side, nothing like my last one.. Reason I could not run it clean like the CNC is cause the ASD unit is setup a little different. Wont fit. I also will be running all new lines.
Now for the cluster I am still undecided about it.. Might go with a Stack or might just get some gauges but I will know very soon what I will do..
hahahaha that would be epic...
Well sorry to say we don't sell tires. But if you need wheels let me know.

yea i would think the ASD is a little bigger and wont fit where u had the CNC. When i was test fitting my ISIS hydro, between the bucket seat and console seemed to be a good fit.
As for the cluster i vote for tach gauge, temp gauge and another gauge where the OEM cluster is and have Carbon fiber backing.

Please reference my thread for pics of the intake to see how tight it is.
Bebo's pic is not of a 350 or G35 either, its not the same clearance. I thought exactly the same thing when I saw Quamen's car... I WANT THAT... only to realise that he has a special setup and the SIKKY kit doesn't sit as far back or quite as low.

Unless you run a custom kit, or possibly a Hinson kit, you will not have the proper clearance necessary to run a setup like that. Quamen is the exception, there is ~4.5" from the front of the throttle body to the radiator. I may be the only one with a full 4" intake all the way to the filter, it is VERY tight (like a good wife or girlfriend
).
