I am actually quite excited to see your reaction to the car compared to when you ran the VQ. I am guessing it is going to be night and day difference.

My personal opinion is that the cam will be too much. It isn't like you are going to really need the extra 10whp that cam will give you. Given your cars use I would go for safety and longevity for the valve train since you can still easily make gobbs of power.

See this is what I was thinking too.. A friend that has an LS1 for drifting told me to look at the ASA cam.. HERE. Which is a really good cam.. I am talking now to Texas Speed Shop so they are working with me to get the right cam. I'll keep you guys posted..
Now as far as the reaction part, I can't wait. I know the VQ and LS are worlds apart so i feel I will have to do a couple of test days before I can get used to that instant torque... But I will have vids for sure..

Are you going to raise the rev limiter? You need to look at the torque and power curve over your estimated rpm range.

Make sure you ask for a dyno curve from a motor similar to yours. With only .525 lift you could have stuck with stock or z06 yellow behive springs. The duration on that cam is pretty long if you are getting a rough idle. Are you ever going to street this car? or is it track only.

Dude, i can not get enough of this thread. The tube work on the nose is phenomenal and if you havnt decided about painting the ducting yet, dont...polish that sucker! I wouldnt rock that bumper either...if i were u id sell it to me
This car is going to be so epic, i cant wait man. Let me know when your ready for the embossing, i say we do the whole car.

Oh haha, well Nevaland has come up with a sick layout to do wrap jobs. This will give you an idea as to what the roof will look like:

Now mine will be Matte White, and going to run a different design but you get the idea..
And yup you are right DPE wheels it is... Would not have it any other way.. I posted a pic a couple pages back but here it is again.. Now these are 19s and will be for marketing at shows/meets/ and driving around town.. I will also be getting this same design in 18s for drifting...
