Todays bad news is that my turbo/manifold combo wont fit due to the location of the wastegate is hitting the body so it wont fit which now means modifying my manifold to move the wastegates

Really wish I had never started this now

If it was easy then everyone would do it. Your going to hit a few walls, just keep knocking them down.

I saw in another build thread they banged a huge dent into the fender area to fit the manifold. might be easier than redoing the manifold. Also, do you plan to keep a/c with this build?

My friend who is doing the build for me does things properly so won't be banging a dent into the fender! Especially since his shops name is all over the build

As for the A/C it's been ditched

I just went through a huge ordeal just to get Akebono's on my car; this doesn't make me feel so bad!

Glad to see you're still making progress. This will without a doubt be an incredible machine when it's finished.

Cheers!

I'm using the same intake manifold, but had to shorten the runners. It was touching the body. And it's recommended to weld the runner to the intake manifold because its usually leak from there.
